Head of Finance and Resources

An international organisation working to combat modern slavery is looking to recruit a permanent Head of Finance and Resources to work in its London headquarters.
The Head of Finance and Resources will be mainly responsible for developing and implementing the organisation's financial strategy. The HoFR will be accountable for the financial functions of the charity including management accounts, cash flow and budgeting, as well as ensuring effective systems of financial control and reporting are in place. There will also be some additional responsibilities regarding IT, GDPR compliance and HR.
You will be a qualified accountant from a recognised accounting body (ACCA, CIMA, etc). You will have demonstrable experience of preparing annual accounts and knowledge of charity SORP. You will have proven experience of developing and implementing financial strategy and plans as well as prior experience of project or grant budget preparation and reporting. You will have strong IT skills including an advanced proficiency with Excel. Previous experience of working in an international NGO context with multi-partner and match funding would be an asset.
