Programme Support Manager
|Posted on:||10 October 2017|
An international organisation focused on the eradication of modern slavery is looking for a French-speaking Programme Support Manager to work in its London HQ.
The main aim of the role is to support the Programmes Team of the organisation in delivering its projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe, including the UK. The primary responsibilities of the role include Project Development, such as supporting local partners to develop budgets for funding proposals, and Grant Management, such as reviewing partners' quarterly finance reports and forecasts, following up financial and budgetary issues, donor compliance and providing financial and budgeting training for partners and project staff. There will also be ad hoc visits to partners on the field where you will provide face-to-face mentoring.
You will have at least four years experience of grant management for INGOs or Human Rights organisations. You will have demonstrable experience of donor reporting, and experience of delivering capacity building or training, ideally for local NGOs. You must be fluent or have a professional working proficiency in French, both written and spoken. This is an essential requirement as many of the organisation's local partners are based in West Africa. A working knowledge of other relevant languages such as Spanish, Hindi or Punjabi would also be an asset. Experience of working with institutional donors such as DfID or the EU would also be a bonus.
You must have a pre-existing right to work in the UK to apply for this role.
