Training Partnerships

The aim of our training partnerships service is to expand the reach of Mango training by sharing our expertise, high quality course materials and successful training methodology.

We develop Training Partnerships with other values-based organisations to develop their financial management capacity, including:

  • Agriterra
  • Christian Aid
  • Save the Children UK
  • Tearfund
  • Plan International

What does a Training Partnership involve?

Training partnerships take different forms and depend on the training partner’s objectives and skills development needs. Typically, Mango senior trainers will work with the partner to build the skills and confidence of finance staff to deliver their own finance training programme using our ‘taking the fear out of finance’ approach.

Training partnerships involve some or all of the following activities:

  • Training and mentoring the partner’s finance staff to deliver effective training
  • Developing, or helping to develop, bespoke training materials to suit the partner’s target training groups
  • Licensing Mango training materials for use by the training partner
  • Translating materials so that training can be delivered in local languages.

We are currently reviewing our strategy for setting up training partnerships so that we can focus our efforts on key priority areas. This will be published in February 2012 when we will advertise opportunities for new partnerships.
