Welcome to Mango's Guide to Financial Management for NGOs

August 2010: This is the newly revised and updated Guide.  If you find anything that does not work or needs improving, please contact us!

NGOs need money to achieve all the great work they do. They have to use it carefully to achieve their goals. Financial management is all about planning, organising, monitoring and controlling our financial resources to meet our objectives.

Mango's Guide - available online and on CD - provides practical advice and tools to everyone working with NGOs, to help them use their funds effectively to meet beneficiaries' needs. It is based on a real understanding of what NGOs do, from Mango's experience of working with NGOs around the world, in the field and in head office.

If you would like to receive copies of the Guide on CD for distribution to partners or conference delegates, please contact us.

This edition of Mango's Guide was made possible with the generous support of Barclays Bank plc, the Association of Accounting Technicians, CAFOD and Littlejohn. Please visit the supporters' page to find out more about their work.

Mango is a UK-registered charity that exists to help NGOs strengthen their financial management. We provide publications, training and staff recruitment. Details at www.mango.org.uk.
