Do you need a consultant to help resolve a specific financial management issue?
Mango can help you in two ways:
- We can design and manage consultancy support using our Associate Consultant team. Our consultancy support is based on a detailed analysis of your needs and is quality assured through a process of peer review.
- We can provide you with one of the carefully selected NGO finance consultants from our Consultant's database.

Associate Consultants
Mango’s team of Associate consultants have wide ranging expertise in NGO financial management. They have worked in a variety of countries around the world, carrying out strategic and operational reviews and evaluations, as well as strengthening NGOs' financial management capacity.
We have particular expertise in systems reviews, risk management and internal audit. We will work with your staff to review working practices and make recommendations for improvements. If you are concerned about internal systems and controls, then this service will help you to understand the risks (in relation to best practice in the sector), and help your staff to improve their practice.
Mango manages each consultancy assignment internally, making our significant experience accessible throughout the assignment. All assignments are quality assured through an ongoing process of peer review.
Consultancy services are charged at a daily rate based on a proposal that is agreed at the start of the assigment.

Consultants' database
Mango also maintains a database of consultants who have a broad range of NGO experience. They have expertise in organisational and systems analysis, training and facilitation skills, report writing and making practical recommendations for change.
We hold testimonials on file which can be shared with commissioning agencies for recruitment purposes. However, unlike our register, we do not interview all the consultants on our database. Any selection decision is the responsibility of the commissioning NGO and the consultant is managed and paid directly by you.
To request a search of the consultants database costs nothing. We only charge a fee when a successful appointment is made. The fee is calculated at 15% of the total anticipated contract fee and is paid to Mango, in addition to the daily rate paid to the consultant.
